About PIHI Ministries

PIHI Ministries provides girls with foundational Christian principles and skills to develop a life of virtue, dignity, character and purpose. With a focus on proper etiquette and high moral values, classes are designed to instruct girls in manners and character development.

We are committed to a personal and effective learning experience and wish to limit classes to 16 or less. Classes are held March through May and September through November for approximately 6-8 weeks depending on the class curriculum. We also host three summer camps Beauty Boot Camp Training Academy for girls ages 10-16.

Ministry Purpose

Our purpose is to disciple and equip girls to become women of God and passionate followers of Jesus Christ, committed to love and serve Him in every area of life.

Ministry Verse

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord--who is the Spirit--makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

~ 2 Corinthians 3:18

About the Founder & Director

Princess in His Image Ministries was founded in the August of 2010 by Candace Riner. At the time her mother was terminally ill with cancer, and she was at her bedside reading the New Christian Charm Course. Candace learned the art of social graces and manners from her mother who had been trained as a young woman herself. Candace began to pray about teaching classes to girls in her community. In January 2011 after her mother passed away, she launched her first class with over 25 girls. She knew this was a passion God had placed on her heart and an opportunity to share and give back to girls something that had been instilled in her.

Candace is passionate about pointing young women towards Jesus and the truth found in God's Word. She wants girls to gain a reverent understanding of their Creator while embracing their value and true beauty. She is committed to teaching the principles of true beauty and a Christ-centered life while challenging girls down the narrow path to live an abundant and consecrated life for Christ. Candace's desire is to see God glorified and for girls to grow in a personal relationship with Him.

Candace is uniquely qualified for her role having taught and worked with girls for over two decades. She has over 19 years of experience as former instructor of dance and baton twirling, is a four-time Miss Arkansas Scholarship pageant contestant and competed in various pageants for ten years winning seven local and regional titles and one state title.

Candace holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication. She and her husband Andy live in Western Arkansas. Andy Riner is Circuit Judge for the 18th Western Judicial District of Arkansas which encompasses Polk and Montgomery counties. The couple have been married for over 19 years and are members of Hatfield First Baptist. They previously served as Youth Sunday School teachers and with other church ministry projects. Andy and Candace have a passion for Haiti missions having traveled to the country 8 times to work alongside their friends at Joy House Ministries and the Great Commission Church in Gressier.

Candace has experience in marketing and design owning a business, SDG Marketing, LLC, as well as working for both Mena Newspapers and the Polk County Pulse. She also worked as Marketing Director for the Mena Advertising and Promotion Commission (City of Mena).

Candace serves on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations: Masterpiece Ministries of Arkansas (Board Member and Media Director), Created in His Image Ministries (Co-Founder & Secretary) and The Barnabas Partnership (Secretary). She also served on the Executive Board for the Ouachita Baptist Association on the Ministry Engagement Team as Women's Ministry Director for 4 years, the Mena/Polk County Chamber of Commerce (Board Member/Magazine Committee), Christian Community Radio, Inc. - KAWX Radio and Fresh Start Pregnancy Resource Center (Past President/Events Coordinator/Former Interim Director) for eight years. She's also been a member of the Mena/Polk County Lioness Club for 15 years.

In addition to her volunteer service and work with Created in His Image Ministries, she works part-time as the Secretary at Grace Bible Church in Mena, AR. In her spare time, she likes to assist her husband on the farm, travel, hike and sale bread for missions on their homestead. They have an English coonhound named Dolley, and a host of other farm critters ranging from heritage bread miniature cows, ducks, chickens and geese.
